Off-Leash Area is casting several dancers and physical performers for two pieces, which will be part of our May show - an evening of short works called “Rip, Romp, and Howl”.
First piece – looking for contemporary dancers with experience in inverted (upside down) movement (ie. Gymnastics, capoeira, joy of standing on your head in yoga class, etc.)
Second piece – looking for dancers and physical performers, will require training in mask performance (non-verbal).
You may audition for both pieces.

Rachel S. McCutchen (*the stage manager of Broadway's Tony Award-winning hit musical 'The Book of Mormon') is coming to the Twin Cities for a special workshop designed for aspiring and established theater artists. On Monday, March 12, 2012 from 6:30-8:30pm, Bloomington Theatre and Art Center presents a workshop called 'Stage Management in the Professional Theatre'. Ninety seven percent actors who audition with monologues never bother to block and direct their pieces. They stand there and recite. Be in the top three percent who do their homework, and make an impact when they audition.
