Stephanie Lein Walseth

Stephanie Lein Walseth is an MA/PhD student in Theatre Historiography at the University of Minnesota. Her research focuses on the cultural poetics and politics of contemporary Native American, African American, and Asian American theatre. She is currently in her third year as the August Wilson Fellow with Penumbra Theatre Company in St. Paul, and she previously served as the Managing Director of Mu Performing Arts and Interim Managing Director of Mixed Blood Theatre. Ms. Lein Walseth has worked as a theatre administrator, educator, actor, director, dramaturg, and stage manager throughout the Twin Cities.
